80 Most Amazing Tilt-Shift Photographies – Get Inspired!
Inspiration, Photography 8 CommentsHi there fellas!
Good day! Tilt shift photography has been far the most favorite type of effects for me. They are the illusion of the reality of the real world. And as for me, it is the fun fact that actually always make my day. A day with toys, no pressure and nothing to worry about.
According to Wikipedia, “Tilt-shift photography” refers to the use of camera movements on small- and medium-format cameras, and sometimes specifically refers to the use of tilt for selective focus, often for simulating a miniature scene. Sometimes the term is used when the shallow depth of field is simulated with digital postprocessing; the name may derive from the tilt-shift lens normally required when the effect is produced optically.
But, nowadays, Tilt-shift photography is not only refers to the usage of the camera movements but it can as well be by the usage of photoshop techniques or maybe a shortcut; usage of application to transform the photos into some extraordinary Tilt-shift photography.
Well, as brief it can be explain, it can be better be from the photo itself, enjoy your reading as well as your weekdays!

Totally agree with Judy; lots of underwhelming images here. I know you mentioned the use of software but I would really like to just say that for those software-generated shots – of which I would say 99.9% of these are – I prefer the term ‘fake miniatures’, as there is nothing tilt-shift about them at all. I’m not a snob or a purist; I just love it when people have fun with their camera and create some great images. With a little bit of the right encouragement, knowledge and some good examples to follow, I think everyone can get better at shooting and more discerning in what they shoot. Giving people a 2metre long page full of overly-processed, overly-contrasty, colour-amped-through-the-roof ’80% look the same’ sort of images to act as inspiration…
Be much better to see 10 examples of absolutely kick-ass work than 75 mediocre and 5 decent ones.
Sorry to turn you down Alfie. Maybe next time i will try to find some real example shots. And thanks for the comment. Love to hear more from you.
I don’t understand how so many of these images even got selected. The effect in them is not successful. Others are very good, though.
